2 Months!

Katelyn was two months old as of yesterday! Yesterday was also my first day back at work. Of course it was a crazy day at work, so I hardly had time to pump, much less call to check on her, but i knew she was in good hands with my mom having her, so that gave me even more of a peace about going back to work for a day. I will say, it was nice to get out of the house for 8 hours and have interaction with adults, but it was also wonderful to get home and hold my little one close!

Katelyn is now about 24 inches long and an estimate of 13 lbs now. We dont go back to the doctor for a few weeks, so i am doing my own estimations with her, but believe me she is a healthy girl still. David's mom found his baby book and David was about the same weight at 2 months as Katelyn, so she is following in her daddy's footsteps!

Here are her milestones at 2 months:

She is wearing size 1 diapers still.

3 to 3-6 months clothing.

She is smiling at you alot now and coos at you.

She knows her mommy and daddy's voices and turns towards our voices.

She grasps at things and holds on to them.

She has started reaching for people and things too.

She has upgraded to big girl pacies now instead of the soothies.

She is doing a great job at holding up her head, wont be too much longer still she has total control.

She has already been to the beach two times and is going again this week, so we are making her a beach bum!

She loves her bath time, doesnt matter how upset she gets, you put her in her bath and she loves it and then cries again when you take her out!

Katelyn and her big girl pacies!

Daddy trying to get me to love racing and Richard Petty as much as he does! 43!

Katelyn with Rush, her big pink bear from Uncle Wes, " I am getting closer to being able to hold him instead of him holding me!"

"Tummy time, sometimes i just need a rest!"

Daddy making fun of how I sleep.

" Yum, this hand tastes good!"

" This is the life, looking at the beach from this view!"
