Yay! They're Married!

The wedding ceremony went perfect and they are married!!! Now let the fun begin! The reception was at a bed and breakfast, The Bellamy. It was a great place to have the reception and they got a tent out back for the band, who were great by the way. Haley loved the music and dancing, she was not shy at all. She and Katelyn lasted until cake, then mom and dad took them home. Katelyn did a wonderful job as flower girl, she walked with me down the aisle, then sat with Gigi. We were so proud of her! There are tons of pictures so enjoy all the festivies like we did. We missed all the family that didnt make it and hope to see everyone soon!

Wedding Day Preparation

Finally, we have all been waiting for this day to come for Wes and Heather. It was a great day and all went very smoothly. The girls started around 9 getting our hair done and everyone's turned out great. My dad brought Katelyn around 1130 and she did perfect and looked so grown. Heather was pretty calm and I think was just ready to get the show on the road!

After everyone had their hair done, we headed to the church to get dressed and have some pictures done. Heather, of course, was beautiful and again katelyn did great waiting patiently and watching Toy story!

Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal went really well, only a few tears were shed, but it was very sweet. After practicing at the church, it was off to Benvenue for dinner and speeches. The dinner was delicious, but the speeches were bitter sweet. David did an awesome job of saying he was standing in for the " real " best man who would have been Grady. There was not a dry eye when he said that. He spoke first on what Grady would have said as best man, some was serious, but most was funny, which helped lighten the moment. Then he spoke as the brother, which there are many stories and reasons as to how David is still alive! haha!

Many other people spoke and there were again many bitter sweet moments without Grady there, but most importantly it was about Heather and Wes and the commitment they were making to each other.

Bridesmaid's luncheon

Let the wedding festivies begin! On Friday, Heather had a bridesmaid luncheon for all of us at her parents house! Thanks for Christy for cooking a yummy lunch! Thanks to Heather for our presents. The bridesmaids received monogrammed mason jar glasses and katelyn received her "flower girl" story book.
