Christmas 2014 Finale!

The finale of Christmas took place on Sunday with Ahma and Ahmpa and all the cousins! It was a great time had by all and even had a surprise visit from Smith and Sawyer, so glad they were able to come! The kids had a blast opening up more presents and my girls loved all their American girl clothes for themselves and their dolls! Huge hits! The dolls really lucked up this Christmas! Phillip wasn't feeling good, so he stayed back at home as to not spread more germs which we were very appreciative of, but he was missed for sure! It has been another wonderful Christmas season. We are so grateful and blessed. Happy Birthday Jesus!

Christmas 2014 ( part 4)

This was a make up for Christmas Eve when Katelyn and I could not join the Browns. Katelyn and I waited to open our presents from Uncle Chris and Aunt Amy and Uncle Ray til Saturday when they could come over to see. The girls loved their new toys, but really loved their snack/drink Frozen cups! They were a huge hit!

Christmas 2014 (part 3)

Christmas night we celebrated with my dad's side of the family. We are getting too big in number and way too many kids to try to do this at someone's house, so we have moved to my aunt's church gym. It was perfect!! The kids had a blast burning that last bit of Christmas energy out and we had plenty of room for people to sit and eat. The kids played hockey, basketball, and rode bikes. We drew names this year too, so each child received one big gift and that was perfect too, the kids loved what they received. Katelyn got a matching dress for herself and her American doll, she ran right to the bathroom to change into it. Thanks cousin Heather! Haley received a neat trunk with two princess dresses in it, she too changed into a dress! Thanks cousin Leigh Ann!

Christmas Day ( part 2)

Part 2 took place over at Gigi's house. The girls were in their Christmas dresses and fun to celebrate Julia Claire and Camryn's first Christmas! Highlights were girls getting ipad minis, matching Lily dresses for a summer photo shoot, and lots of toys! Thanks again to Gigi for David and I's awesome Dyson vacuum, we love it!!

Christmas 2014 ( part 1)

Christmas morning arrived with David and I up first getting cameras all ready! Katelyn was the first child up and thankfully she felt so much better that she could actually partake in Christmas! Julia Claire was up second and by 8am, I had to wake Haley up! Never fails the child will sleep late on days we need her up early! haha! That's Haley though!

We have a routine that on Christmas morning all the girls wait at the top of the stairs until they can come down to see what Santa brought, so since Katelyn was up first, she and Daddy hung out upstairs with Summer until Haley and Julia Claire were up. Finally they were able to see what Santa brought them! I think they were a little surprised that they didn't get exactly what they had asked for from Santa, but we told them that Santa may have had some help with other people already getting them what they asked for, so this seemed to make them happy, since they had more presents to open the next few days! Katelyn did get an easy bake oven, Haley a new big doll, and Julia Claire her month by month picture frame.

Christmas Eve 2014!

Since the stomach bug made its way into our house for Christmas Eve, Katelyn and I stayed home from going to have Christmas with the Browns!! David, Haley, and Julia Claire went and had lots of presents to open especially from Uncle Chris, and the girls got a kids kitchen to keep at Gigi's to play with. That night, Katelyn felt a little better, at least long enough to decorate 1 cookie for Santa and open presents from David and myself. After getting into their Christmas pjs they then laid out their cookies for Santa, sprinkled reindeer food outside, and said goodbye to Candy Cane and called it a night with much anticipation for Santa to arrive!

Seeing Santa! Sickness is all around, so trying to keep Julia Claire safe, David didn't take her. Dean's Farm did a private meeting with Santa, which included decorating a gingerbread house cookie, writing a letter to Santa, and seeing Santa privately and taking your own pics and being able to spend a lot of time with him. The girls did great David said and really enjoyed their time telling Santa what they wanted. Haley wants more baby dolls and so does Kate, but Katelyn also wants a computer and doll clothes, so we will see. I am going to try to go earlier to see Santa next year, though I say that every year and winds up to the last minute, but oh well. The big girls had fun and sad Julia Claire didn't get her pic with him, but couldn't chance it.
