We traveled back to Charlotte the end of July for a week of visiting old friends and for David to go to a sales conference. We left Monday morning and headed to the zoo in Asheboro. Despite it raining off and on, the kids had fun and there was hardly any people, so we were able to get through it all with ease. We didn't get to see the giraffes but otherwise we had a great time!
We are ready!
Elephant view!
Sacked out!
Next stop was Richard Petty museum, where we met one of Richard's daughter and she just hung out with the girls and I while they colored a picture and David toured around and met some more of the staff. Very much a family place for sure.

After such a fun Monday, we checked into a hotel and the girls thought this was great too! Especially the fruit loops each morning! We shopped on Tuesday and hung around the hotel, until we went and visited one of my coworkers at her house. It was great to see Deborah, hate I didn't get a pic!
Haley enjoying the king size bed and a movie!
The next day we were off to see Shannon and her kids and finally meet Amelia who is now 1! Thanks for a fun afternoon out of the hotel!
We went and saw my coworkers from CMC and where Katelyn was born. Her picture in front Rush towers where her big pink bear got his name from!
On Thursday, we hung out with some more friends and went to their pool, so mad I didn't get a pic of all the kids, but it started to rain and everybody just kinda ran to cars, but it was so great to see Claudia and Sarah and all their kids!
The lake view from Daddy's old work.
Then to Danica's race shop, then we headed home! Until next time!!!

24 weeks!
Made it to 24 weeks and Heather is at 23 weeks! Both of us have popped, to say the least!
This little girl is very active and Katelyn and Haley can feel her and watch my belly move. Haley is still trying to figure out why she cant just see her and thinks she is going to come out through my belly button! haha! The girls have also started "playing" like they are carrying babies in their tummies and we get to feel them move too. It's really cute.
Energy level is still good. Loving some watermelon and ice cream and of course always tea and cheeseburgers! hahaha! We go back to Dr. at 26 weeks and for another ultrasound to make sure fluid is still good.

Like her Daddy!
I just love this pic and didn't want to forget it. Katelyn wanted to be just like daddy, so she got a pair of his ear plugs, her dark glasses and her " lawn mower" to be just like him! Too cute!

Happy 4th of July, 2014
For 4th of July, we decided to redo the girls rooms and get ready for baby #3. Katelyn also decided she wanted to go upstairs and have a big girl room, so even more decorating still to do! But for night, you cant have a 4th of July without fireworks so thankfully a church near David's mom's has a big festival and fireworks at the end! We met up with Tom, Jennifer, and Maggie and had so much fun celebrating our freedom and watching awesome fireworks! Will post later the finished girls room, but God Bless America!

Boating fun!
The nice part with where we live is that if we cant be down at the beach, we aren't too far from water, this time fresh water! First time out on the boat in awhile and first time swimming this summer in the reservoir! Fun!

Fun with Friends
Shannon, Erin, and I have been trying to get together for awhile to see Shannon's renovated historic house and she did an awesome job with all her decorating. It was great to see and neat to be able to walk right to downtown Apex, cant wait to go back and play again!! Natalie, we missed you and Mary Clair!
Erin and I both expecting baby #3, her another boy and me a girl. She is 35 weeks, to my 22! Can't wait to meet these little ones!
All the kids! They played so well together.

Trips to the Beach!
Two different trips to the beach already this summer. Girls love it! They have had so much fun asking fishermen too when they can catch a small if they can have it to play with in their " tanks" they make in the sand. Keeps them entertained for a few hours before the tide comes up and takes the fish back to their homes. We have had some beautiful days down there and look forward to a few more trips this summer!
