Lately Happenings

The girls have really gotten into dressing up! Here are some of their latest attires!

Snow 2014!!

If it is going to stay this cold we might as well have some snow! Finally we got some and it came down heavy and fast over night until we had about 2 to 3 inches. It started on Tues night, so we woke the girls up ( they hadn't been down too long), and got them bundled up in their pjs and coats and headed out to enjoy the falling snow!! Katelyn loved it, but Haley did not like the snow hitting her face and she kept saying, "cold mommy, cold." So David took her back in and Katelyn and I and some of our neighbors enjoyed the snow for about an hr, until Katelyn said she was cold and tired. The next day it still snowed lightly until lunch. Finally after the snow stopped did Haley go outside and enjoy it with us.

So much fun and after several days, it is still brutally cold, so the snow is still around and more is being called for this week, so we will see!

Beach Fun in Jan! BRRRRR!!!

Baby, its cold outside!!! Has anyone else noticed??? Haha! Our utility bill sure did! The girls have been asking and asking to go to the beach ( I think they thought it would be warmer there like it usually is), but they soon learned it was just as cold as home, but they still had a great time. A change of scenery was quite nice too, plus we went to the aquarium each day so they could run some energy out! We lasted about 15 minutes each day on the beach because with the wind too, it was unbearably cold!!! But the beach still looked so beautiful and inviting.

The birds were out to attack! We didn't have any food either!

Tom turns 43!

Tom, our neighbor and good friend, turned 43 this year, so of course for the Brown boys it was a big party! haha! And we all had to dress the part! We had a great time and wonderful meal at Daniels!

Then Haley even jumped in on the celebration once we got home! Richard would be so proud!
