Katelyn's End of School Year

Hard to believe 1st grade is over, this year has gone by quickly again. So proud of Katelyn though and all her accomplishments, which honor roll and the math award. She really did improve so much in her math this year, she worked very hard at it as well. She also had a great group of friends in her class and awesome teachers. Thank you to Mrs. Leach and Mrs. Ellis for all your work you put in helping Katelyn out!

Mother/Daughter Weekend at CWS 2016

Katelyn and I went on our first of hopefully many, Mother/Daughter weekends at Camp Willow Springs. Willow Run will always be close to my heart as I was a camper, counselor and nurse there for many years, but love love the new camp too! This one will have many new memories like these retreats for us and in a couple of weeks, we are going to be nurses their for a week!

We stayed in a cabin with a friend of mine Beth Pelter and her daughter, we served on staff together in 2001. Then Lindsey and her daughter Riley were in their with us and I served on staff with her husband, such a small world! We had such a fun weekend just hanging out, even though the weather wasnt the best, we still had a great time of learning about Esther, camp outs, and doing crafts and activities! Katelyn's favorite things were being there by herself and Octoball!

Very much looking forward to our sweet time together next year!

Katelyn's 7th Birthday Shopkins theme!

Katelyn loves shopkins, its the thing for young girls these days, so of course the theme to her birthday party with her friends was shopkins! IT was still a pool party with her friends too then the decorations and cupcakes were shopkins. Thanks to all her friends for coming, she had so much fun and such a great group of preschool friends, that are now school age friends.
