Snowcation!

For 2 weeks it was either snow coming down or ice or both. This on top of freezing temps for days was its own little vacation in the house, our snowcation! We even lost power for a few hours, but so grateful it was only a few hours! The girls had fun of course going outside to play in the ice or the snow, didn't matter cause it looked white and it was so cold! We even took Julia Claire out for a minute to get pictures, then quickly took her back inside.

President's Club

We finally made it to Cancun! It was a wonderful time of warmth, fun, and just relaxing without kids! So thankful to Gigi, Aunt Cathy, Ahma, and Ahmpa for watching the kids for 4 days! It was a great time meeting some of David's coworkers from all across the country and their spouses. Secrets resort was a great place to stay and the food was pretty good, we greatly enjoyed ourselves. Of course ready to come home to see the kids, but probably could have handled at least 1 more day in the sun before we headed home to more cold and snow!

The company gave us 1 excursion to choose from and we chose to swim with dolphins. It was so much fun! I wish we could have taken our own pics, but these are the best we could do. They took pics there of us but would charge $100 for them!!! We have great memories in our minds!

Birthday Party Fun!

One of Katelyn's friends had a birthday party recently and they had pony rides. I was so proud of Katelyn for getting right up on the pony and riding all by herself! I was very proud of her. She had fun too combing the " unicorn" that was there too! Thanks Mallory for the invite!

Daddy/Daughter Date Night 2015

Annual Chick fil A Daddy/Daughter Night! And as always they had a good time and next year Julia Claire can join! Think Daddy can handle all 3...to be determined!

Boat Show

David and Dad took Kate up to the boat show in Raleigh and to meet Aric Almirola, driver of the 43 car. Not sure if they went more for the boats or to meet him, but either way they all had a good time! Poor Haley, Julia Claire and I stayed home with the little girls sick. David said Katelyn did really well carrying on a conversation with him and even let him hold her kitty cat!!

Feedings: every 2 to 3 hours during day and every 4 to 6 at night, just depends.

Sleep: Still up twice a night and take 2 to 3 naps a day

Favorite things: love your kicking piano and playing with Daddy!

Things you are doing: Hold your head really well, reaching for things and grasping them and love putting your hands in your mouth now! Starting to talk or coo and laugh! You have tickle spots for sure!

Things this past month: You had your first cold and first high fever, which was not fun, and made for a few long nights for mommy and also increased how often you were waking up. Still not a fan of your car seat, but getting better. You light up with a huge smile when you see any of us, especially your sisters. Noticed the tv now and love to watch it.
