Snow Day 2013

Katelyn has been patiently waiting all winter for snow! We thought we would get some a few weeks ago, but sadly it was just cold, miserable ice! Finally out of no where, they say we will be getting snow anywhere from a trace to a few inches! Again I was praying for Katelyn that it would happen, but not be such a mess and thankfully that was exactly what it was! We got around an inch of the wonderful packing snow and better yet, it didnt stick to the roads, so it wasnt a mess! Yay! It started snowing big flakes after lunch and after a couple of hours there was enough to go out and play in!

Katelyn making her snow angels! She did these all over the yard, she loved it!


Her snowman and snowwoman she built. She knew he needed buttons, a carrot, a hat and a scarf to help decorate them!









Oh what fun we all had, but mainly Katelyn the most. She was so excited and could have stayed out there all day if I would have let her, but she was very willing to come in for some hot chocolate and popcorn! Haley on the other hand didnt know what to do. She wanted to be outside, but not with all the clothes and hats and being cold, but she was a trooper! Now we are ready for spring!

Valentine's 2013

Daddy/Daughters Date Night 2013

Chick fil a had their daddy/daughter date night again this year and David braved it with both girls! The girls were so excited to go out with Daddy. Katelyn picked out her own outfit, she painted her nails, and even put on some make up! It was really sweet!

David said it was really decorated with lighted trees on each table and an archway with greenery to go through and get pictures in front of.
They again wait on each table, which makes it alot easier when you have both girls.

Each girl was given a carnation flower. Haleys didnt last too long, so on their way out they gave her another! haha!

They had a great time! Thanks Daddy! He said he was tired by the time he got home! haha! They were only gone an hour and half!
