At the Hospital

We arrived at the hospital at 730 this am, after a nice breakfast at Bojangles! Labor and Delivery was a little busy, so i got started with the paper work in triage, then at 945, we were able to get a suite and get the IV going with the pitocin, so as of now it is 1045, David just went downstairs to get Lyn and Wes who have arrived. The contractions are getting stronger, but i am still holding strong for now, and i can get the epidural whenever i want, so we will see. The doctor has not come back to check me yet, so not sure if we have progressed more or not. Will update when i can!

We Have A Date!

As of now Saturday will be the day that Katelyn arrives, unless for some reason she wants to come earlier, but I doubt that. David and I will go in on Friday night to the hospital and then the induction will start early Saturday morning, hopefully not too long after, we will finally meet Katelyn! My doctor is on call this weekend and of course i know most of the staff working, so Katelyn and I will have wonderful nurses taking care of us! I still go back to the doctor tomorrow to have another NST done on Katelyn, she is starting to not be as active as she has been this whole pregnancy, so hopefully that means she is getting ready to meet everyone anyways! Please keep us all in your prayers during this process and we will do our best to keep you updated and post pics as soon as we can!

More Pics of the Nursery

Katelyn's Nursery

Here is everyone's first look at Katelyn's nursery! It is all ready for her, she just needs to get here to enjoy it! I never knew a baby needed so many things, but it has been fun filling it up and decorating it. Soon we will get some things on the walls, but they arent here yet.

Welcome to our blog!

So i have finally given in and started a blog posting this way our friends and family can read about life with Katelyn and watch her grow! She is due in 2 weeks, so we will see when she wants to make her appearance into this world! Our next appointment is Monday and we will have another ultrasound done to make sure she still has enough fluid to continue to grow. It is so amazing to see your child while they are still inside you, it is an amazing sight to see, though you still don't totally know what they will look like once they come out. Again welcome to our site and we will see how well i do with keeping up with everything!
