Haley's First Boat Ride

When Katelyn was learning to drive, Haley was on her first boat ride! I wasn't sure how she was going to do with wearing a life jacket and the noise of the boat, but she did great! It helped having Ella on the boat too. Thanks so much again to Maggie and Corey, we love to go out with yall on the boat!

Learning to Drive

I remember when I was little my dad letting me "drive." I thought i was really doing it and big stuff! So David let Katelyn "drive" this past weekend and she loved it! So much so that on her second time she told David she needed her Veggie Tales music on! haha! A pro already!

Later that day, Maggie and Corey invited us out on their boat and Corey let Katelyn "drive" the boat. She was just a little excited about this! Twice in one day she learned to drive, whats up next, the lawn mower, but right now she wont get on it with David.

Happy Father's Day 2012

Father's Day was much better than Mother's Day this year because the girls weren't sick! We made Daddy breakfast and then he opened presents. We went to lunch with my dad and grandfather and my dads family. I dont know how many times I was going to try to get a picture of David and his girls, but katelyn is so uncooperatvie these days with pictures, but i finally got one of she and David when they were "tackling" as she calls it ( David tickling her). The rest of the day was a nice relaxing time as a family! Hope you had a great Father's Day!

9 Months

Weight: 16lbs

Height: 27 1/4 inches

Head: 16 1/4

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 9-12 Months

Shoes: Size 2

Feeding: Eats cereal and prunes in morning, veggie at lunch, and veggie or fruit at dinner. Still only really nurse, but slowly starting to take a sippy cup better. Nurse still 6 to 7
times a day and we are making you go at least 6 hours straight without feeding during the night.

Teeth: still none

Sleep: Takes two naps a day for about an hour to two hours, then goes down around 630 and usually up at 630am with feeding at least twice during the night still.

Activity: Not crawling, but rolling everywhere, and loves to prop herself up on her side and can almost get herself in a complete sitting position from lying on her tummy. Loves to walk now holding your fingers, i think we will have a walker before a crawler. She loves to clap now too! Kinda waving some.

Garden Update 2012

Our garden is doing pretty good, we have gotten several zucchinis and squash and they tasted very good! We also have gotten lettuce so far. Everything else is growing, so hopefully we will have more soon!

Katelyn birthday party with family

For Katelyn's 3rd birthday with family, we had it again at the pool! All the cousins love to swim so it makes it easier this way. It was a beautiful day for a party. Of course i continued the ladybug theme. Thanks to everyone who could come, Katelyn very much enjoyed her day! Thanks especially to Aunt Cathy for making the amazing cakes!
Katelyn is getting more and more difficult to take pictures of these days, so you may see just as many of Haley, just because she is easy to take pictures of! hopefully soon Katelyn will grow out of this not wanting to have her picture taken phase!
