Memorial Weekend means fun at the beach! Katelyn and Haley both love the beach, which is a huge blessing because David and I love it too! We got there on thursday with Ahma and Connor and went to acquarium, then they had to head back home on Friday, but we had lots of fun on Friday down at the beach and flying kites! David came down friday, then Gigi got there on Saturday. It was a beautiful weekend though Saturday was windy, but Sunday and Monday were great. The biggest thing Katelyn will remember is that she lost a shoe to the ocean. I think everyone she has seen has been told about it and she keeps asking when we are going back to the beach to go find it. Poor thing, but she got some new shoes for her birthday that she enjoys wearing now too.
Katelyn also receieved a kite from her end of school party, so she was able to fly it down at the beach. She did pretty good with it! It was a nice fun weekend to kick off the summer!
