Welcome 2015

2015 is in full force being a family with 3 kids! For the most part people ask me is it harder or how is it different from 2 to 3? Right now at this stage, kids being sick is the hardest because usually it doesn't happen when they are all sick at the same time, so its like a week of sickness or longer, plus trying to keep Julia Claire well is all but impossible. She has had her first cold and her first high fever, but we made it through.

Katelyn is thriving and loving school. It is still a long day for her, but she has gotten used to it. She has learned so much already. Her reading and writing improvements have amazed me and only halfway through year. She loves learning about science and social studies facts as well. She is becoming more independent at times with what she wants to wear, or how she wants her hair, but then there are times, she still just wants to sit in your lap or wants you to read with her. She is definitely growing up too fast, so I try to take advantage of her moments of being my little girl still. She is a wonderful big sister and God has given her such a love for her little sisters. Yes, they have their moments, but for the most part, Katelyn leads the way with such love for them, they just follow right in line with her great personality.

Haley is now 3 and half and full of life, love, and energy. She will brighten up any room with her contagious smile. She is a character too and talks all the time! I never knew a 3 year old could have such a vocabulary! She is very smart too, way advanced for her age, but I give most of that credit to Katelyn, who is a wonderful big sister and teachers her so much already about writing and reading and playing games. She loves her Itty Babies still and loves being a big sister to Julia Claire.

Life with Haley!

Julia Claire is my sweet little baby. Poor thing has been sick twice, but she has pushed through it with a smile on her face. She loves and knows when her big sisters are around to the point, she wont nap because I think she knows she will miss something. This has become the new struggle is getting her to nap during the day when they are around. She knows her mommy and daddy too and will coo and give us the biggest smile.

As for David and myself, over 9 years of marriage, WOW, where did the time go??!! It has been a fast and wonderful 9 years! David is a wonderful man of God, husband, and father and I have been truly blessed to have him as my help mate because with 3 kids, there is a lot of help needed!!

Also just take a minute to brag on him, he just found out he made the Top 10 list for sales guys for his division in North America last year, out of more than 100. With this honor we get a trip to Cancun with his fellow winners!! We leave in 3 weeks, this mommy is excited for 4 days in HOT weather and maybe a full night sleep!! YAY! So proud of you, David, and for all you do for our family!

I thank God daily for life with my 3 girls, I wouldn't ask or change anything. Though at times things are tough, and I am tired, oh so tired, I am thankful daily for God's continued love for us first and for our love for each other next. Praying for a joyful and healthy 2015!!
