Easter Activities!

I wanted to do some fun Easter activities with Katelyn to help learn and celebrate the true meaning of Easter. First off, I bought resurrection eggs and daily we would read the meaning of what each egg contained and she had so much fun opening each egg. Sometimes she also liked mixing up what was inside but thankfully they give you the correct list inside the crate to easily put it back together correctly.

Then I found this craft which Katelyn could paint of a cross and we talked about what the cross represented and how Jesus paid the ultimate price for us.

Lastly, we did the traditional Easter Eggs!

Using tape, made a cross.

Katelyn painting all the white space around the cross.

Finished product and I wrote on them, " He IS RISEN!"

Our layout for Easter eggs.

Watching them change colors.

Katelyn was very good at getting them out all by herself!

Finished products, so much fun! All while Haley was sleeping too!
