San Fran Day 1

Last week David and I went to San Fransico and Sonoma for our 5 year anniversary. We celebrated it a month early with taking the trip now, but most people said the weather would be better and we could see the vineyards being harvested, so we decided to go now. It is hard to believe we have been married 5 years, time truely does fly by and they have been a wonderful 5 years, so here is too many more!

For the next few blog posts you will see all pics of David and myself and some awesome views of San Fran and Sonoma, sorry no pics of Katelyn. Katelyn stayed behind in NC with Gigi for 3 days and then Ahma and Grandpa for 3 days and i honestly cant say who had more fun, her or us!

These pics below are from Day 1 of San Fran, where we flew in. We got there around 1Pacific Time and hit the roads walking! Walking here is for the most part directly up hill or down hill, there isnt much level ground and i am not sure the pictures will really show how difficult it was or tiring, but just know it is STEEP!

These are the steps we had to take and i am not exaggerating when i say there must have been a couple of hundred steps to go up and then later come back down!

After all the climbing and the time change, we pretty much crashed after this because we had to get up in the AM to head to Alcatraz.
