15 Months

Big girl!

Thanks Great Godparents Jerry and Trudy for my ball! I love it!

Another month has passed and Katelyn is doing more and more. She understands so much more these days. You can ask her pretty much anything and she understands it and nods her head yes or no. The problem still comes when she wants something, you have to ask her a million questions until she nods her head yes, for that is what she wanted, which can get a little frustrating for both of us at times. Her words are improving, but her motor skills are what she has mastered, that girl can run outside now and she can climb! In this pics she has climbed into her toy chest.

You have to be careful too mentioning the word "outside", because she LOVES it,and that is an understatement. She thinks when the dog, Summer, goes outside, that she can too. She still doesnt understand either, that we dont go outside in the rain, the dog doesnt even like that! ha!
Please let me go out!

Helping Daddy cut the grass.

Doesnt it look like so much fun out there?

She has also started with a little bit of attitude and will scrunch up her face and give you the "eyes" or give this aweful looking scawl. She has started doing this now too when she meets strangers and i feel so bad for them, but mostly once she warms up to them, she will smile.

She loves to put on jewerly or anything that is like a bracelet.
Look at my bracelet!

She is into sorting everything. She loves taking her cheerios or raisins from one container to another and back again. It is really fun to watch her mind at work.

Some stats

Weight 21 lbs 7oz ( 25-50%)

Length 31 1/4 in ( 75%)

Still wearing 12-18 month clothing.

Size 3 diapers.

Sleeps usually 11 hours at night with a 2 - 3 hours nap.

Loves the dog and I mean loves Summer, poor dog gets smothered with hugs and kisses daily and Katelyn looks for her first everytime she wakes up!

Is doing really well using a fork and a spoon.

Knows where her nose, eyes, ears, and toes are, but has more fun pointing yours out!

It simply is amazing just how much more she understands these days, so we have to really start being careful what we say and do, because she is always watching!

Poor baby on the way home after her shots!
